Physical
Being	What are the dominant species? Can they change shape or form? How long do they live? What size are they? Eddie is human
Movement	How do you move in your world? Are there different intensities of movement such as walking, running, flying...is gravity a factor or not? Like most humans on Earth. The story is set in a realistic environment
Survival	Any special rules of survival? Do you need extra equipment to survive? Nothing above and beyond what we already know
Time	How does time progress? Is it absolute or subjective? Does time play a part in the makeup of the world? Time is represented as normal to the character although as he is not alive, he is living in the past
Transport	What are the forms of transport, how do they work and who has them? restricted to available forms of transport in Australia 2008
Landforms	Describe the terrain - is it hospitable? What does it have a lot of? Not much of? Set in a central melbourne apartment
Colours and Sense	What's the world's dominant palette - describe the background sounds, textures, smells and tastes Busy, developed city sounds
Technical	What tools are carried? What tasks do they accomplish? NA
Social
Class or Caste	Is there a class or caste system? Are these boundaries firm, flexible, secure or under threat? NA
Communication	How do inhabitants communicate? Who owns the means and does everyone have access? Eddie can not communicate with anyone, although in this time frame he is not aware of that fact
Type of government	Monarchy, autocracy, democracy, dictatorship, commune, cult? What's its effect on the inhabitants? NA-Australia 2008
Built environment	How much is urbanised? Wilderness? Is there a rural sector? Are urban areas well inhabited? In good repair? City Location
Social fabric	Are things generally good or bad? What makes them so? Who has power? Do they use it well? They appear good and normal at the start but turn bad by the end
Belief	Is there a predominant or established belief system? Who believes and why? Is this system tied to the government? Do you believe in ghosts?
Play	What do inhabitants do for fun? Sport? Art? Culture? War? Do they have fun at all? Movies, sports, games
Life pattern	What's the general pattern of living? Do most inhabitants have the same pattern? Who are the exception and why? work to live
Family	Are there families? Do inhabitants have parents? What's the system? How are they brought up - parents or others? What's the predominant morality regarding family units? Eddies family live out in the burbs and he stays in contact with them.
Fashion	What do people wear and why - fun, class, differentiation, identification? Eddie is casual in what he wears but does dress up when necessary, but tries to avoid the trappings of fashion dictation
Personal (for the main part character or primary agent)
Appearance	Typical in appearance? If not, why not? What is worn? refer to above
Social standing	What's the social mix around you? What class, income, societal position? middle (working)class
Aim in life	What's your purpose or mission in life? live life, enjoy life and the people around me cos life can be short.
Place in the world	With the above info in mind, where do you stand in relation to this world and its social structures? "Winner"? "Loser"? Renegade? Typical resident? Some would class Eddie as a loser with no goals or objectives but he purposely avoids falling into line with what society is selling and doesn,t want the big house with the trophy wife and the merc in the drive.
Strength and weaknesses	Do you have special or unique perceptions and actions? An Achilles Heel/fatal flaw? Eddie perceives life is normal at the time of his story
Communication	How do you communicate to others? normally as humans do in western culture
Sensory perception	What senses do you use and why? as Eddie is dead, his soul is his only sense and what he sees is maybe imagination
